Restore2 Full Course and Mini eLearning course – online and Face to Face
RESTORE2TM is a physical deterioration and escalation tool for care/nursing homes. It is designed to support homes and health professionals to:
- Recognise when a resident may be deteriorating or at risk of physical deterioration
- Act appropriately according to the resident’s care plan to protect and manage the resident
- Obtain a complete set of physical observations to inform escalation and conversations with health professionals
- Speak with the most appropriate health professional in a timely way to get the right support
- Provide a concise escalation history to health professionals to support their professional decision making.

Malnutrition Universal Screening Tool (MUST) – eLearning
Built by the TSDFT Dietitians this useful online programme enables your team to...
- Accurately identify and describe the causes and consequences of malnutrition
- Demonstrate competency in using the Malnutrition Universal Screening Tool (MUST) by correctly using it to assess the nutritional risk
- Demonstrate the ability to fortify food for the treatment and prevention of malnutrition in accordance with local Trust policies
- Accurately identify and apply the appropriate criteria for referring individuals to the Dietitians
Post Fall Training Community Staff – Face to Face Sessions
This is a session that will equip staff to assess and intervene appropriately to assist the non-injured faller. It will help learners to:
- Examine the fallen person using a secondary survey
- Make safe decisions about action to take for a fallen person
- Understand the implications of a long lie
- Know when and how to assist from floor either with or without equipment
- Know when and how to call for assistance in getting the non-injured faller up
- Know when it is appropriate to call 111 or 999
- Improve outcomes for non-injured fallers
