Sponsored Workers
DHSC have confirmed that sponsored workers will not have to leave the UK after 22nd July 2028.
International workers who are already sponsored to work legally in the sector by the end of the transition period will be able to continue to extend their stay, change sponsors and, when qualified, apply to settle.
This video, produced by the Gangmasters & Labour Abuse Authority (GLAA) and Justice & Care, has been developed to inform and protect international care workers in the UK. It provides important guidance on what care workers should expect when working in the UK care sector. Topics include, researching visas, sponsor responsibilities, life in the UK and how to spot signs of labour exploitation.

National Induction for Health and Social Care
Skills for Care and NHS England have created free-to-access induction materials for anyone new to a role in health and social care.
All content is available online to use as part of your induction or as a refresher for existing staff, alongside your organisation specific induction. Users will need to register for a free account to access. You can do this with any email address.

The series of 11 videos covers various subjects such as the basics of creating content, how to select the right platform for your needs and the range of tools available to help you boost your online presence. There is also a handy pdf covering the essentials of social media.
