Skills for Care: Delivering Outstanding Care Seminar

Overview:

This one-day facilitated session provides insight into what outstanding care looks like and how to be best prepared to evidence this to the Care Quality Commission (CQC). 

Understanding the CQC assessment process and how you can evidence that the quality of care complies with the national standards is important for the people you support, staff teams and the wider reputation of your service.  

Some of the subjects covered include:

  • The benefits of delivering outstanding levels of care  
  • Promoting what you do for the people you support
  • Outstanding terminology
  • How to have an outstanding assessment  
  • What outstanding looks like in the CQC Single Assessment
  • FrameworkEvidencing outstanding care

Everyone attending this seminar will receive a range of practical resources to support their learning including an 80-page practical toolkit covering key learning and practical activities to use in the workplace.

Everyone attending this seminar will receive a range of practical resources to support their learning including a 70-page practical toolkit covering key learning and practical activities to use in the workplace.

This seminar is primarily aimed at adult social care services currently rated Good but who want to progress to Outstanding, as well as newer services hoping to achieve this accolade in their first assessment.
