Community Practice Education Team (NHS)

The Community Practice Education Team is made up of clinical educators and an administrator. They deliver and coordinate education for care providers across the Royal Devon footprint, both within and outside the trust.
Care provider education is based on the Enhanced Health in Care Homes (EHCH) framework (NHS England » Enhanced health in care homes).
The team works closely with QAIT, DCC, Safeguarding (RDUH & DCC), CQC, and both internal and external care providers, along with a range of other stakeholders. Their education is developed in collaboration with specialists across the Trust and is aligned with current best practice guidelines and advice.
The team's main function is to educate and support care providers.
Education is available to all care settings in North, Mid, and East Devon, and Exeter only.
