LDSS funding is back for 2026–27

The Learning and Development Support Scheme (LDSS) has been confirmed for 2026–27, giving adult social care employers another opportunity to claim back staff training and qualification costs.

With a limited funding pot, early engagement is strongly encouraged - once the funding is gone, no further claims can be made.

Make sure your ASC-WDS account is up to date so you’re ready to claim and invest in your workforce. Places are limited and funding is time‑limited - now is a great time to sign up and make the most of this opportunity.

New funding available for Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training

Adult social care employers can now access continued funding for the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training in 2026–27, helping staff develop the skills and understanding needed to provide safe, compassionate and informed care to autistic people and people with a learning disability.

This funding is delivered via a ring‑fenced LDSS pot, separate from other learning and development funding. As the overall pot is limited, providers are encouraged to plan early and ensure their ASC‑WDS registration is in place before starting training.
