DCC: Learning & Development

Learning and development through LDSS
A Social Care Assessor recently accessed leadership training with Alium, funded through the Learning and Development Support Scheme (LDSS). Reflecting on the experience, they described the training as “really informative and helpful, particularly for those already in leadership roles or for anyone considering taking that next step.”
The course supported their understanding of leadership responsibilities and provided practical insight into managing teams more confidently. This is a great example of how LDSS funding can help staff build skills, increase confidence, and prepare for progression within adult social care.
Places are limited and funding is time‑limited — now is a great time to sign up and make the most of this opportunity.
