End-of-Life Care Ambassadors Programme for 2026/27

We are seeking health and social care professionals from the Torbay & South Devon area who are passionate about end of life care and eager to make a difference in this vital area. If this sounds like you, we would be delighted to receive your expression of interest and share more about how you can get involved.

Our End-of-Life Care Ambassadors Programme has been running since 2018, successfully completing six cohorts of staff from various sectors, including care homes, acute trusts, and community services across Torbay and South Devon. These individuals have made significant contributions to improving end of life care.

Rowcroft Education, in partnership with the End-of-Life Education & Hospital Palliative Care Team, provide guidance and mentorship through your journey to become an End-of-Life Care Ambassador.
 
We are excited to announce that the next cohort will begin in September 2026, and we are now recruiting participants.

2026/27 Training Days: 

• 15th September 2026*
• 26th November 2026
• 20th January 2027
• 10th March 2027
• 8th July 2027* (Project Celebration)

You must commit to attending at least four of these training days, with attendance on the first day and final day being *mandatory.
