The HIVE is a Learning Management System (LMS), providing care homes with access to 100s of digital, virtual and classroom training sessions.
The HIVE is FREE to all DCHC members.
Please note that all HIVE users, including DCHC members, are able to access the Care Certificate Course.

Continence Care and Pad Use Pop Up – delivered by Hollie Campbell, Assistant Practitioner with the Bowel and Bladder Care Service Torbay Hospital.

This training has been created for staff who are new to care as well as any staff looking for training for yearly reviews or refresher training.
The session includes:
- Types of incontinence.
- Managing incontinence.
- Drinking for a healthy bladder.
- Bowel – diet, constipation & incontinence.
- Pads talk by TENA specialist nurse about the different pads available on the NHS, how the pads work, the fitting of each pad.
- Other incontinence aids, Beambridge products, convenes & washable incontinence wear available on prescription.
- How to complete incontinence assessment for bladder & bowel team.
