DCHC Registered Managers' Network

Join us for our next Registered Managers' Network meeting on 10th November at 11:30am.

We're delighted to be joined by Sally-Anne Tommy, Certified Trauma Coach and Doctor of Education & Social Studies. Sally will be discussing the importance of trauma informed relationships with families of service users in care homes. The aim is to help foster a supportive environment that recognises the experiences of families, leading to more positive, collaborative relationships and improved outcomes for residents.

Sally has worked in Education and Social Care for over 30 years, having left an early career in Banking to be more people orientated in her work. Her current work is largely charity related. She delivers specialist webinars and guidance to help bring trauma awareness into practice.

In this session, we'll also be joined by Megan Braide from the Independent Living Centre, a joint NHS and Devon County Council funded service, offering equipment and mobility solutions in Devon. Megan, an experienced Therapist, will discuss the various training opportunities and resources available to carers.
