Classroom learning event - £50 partially funded by Rowcroft

Whether you work in health and care or simply want to plan ahead for yourself and those close to you, this practical course will help you understand Advance Care Planning (ACP) and enable you to approach important conversations with greater confidence.

No previous knowledge of Advance Care Planning is needed. The course uses clear language, practical examples and guided discussion in a supportive learning environment.

Learning Objectives:

• Build your understanding of the evidence behind Advance Care Planning and why it matters.
• Recognise how the Planning for the Future Hub supports these conversations.
• Learn how to use the intervention to start meaningful, sensitive conversations with confidence. 
• Practice your skills with expert guidance using a tested Brief Intervention enabling conversation in busy/time limited situations.
